The culture in our family of loving the written word has translated through to our daughter, now after 5 years of reading to her she has started to write and illustrate her own story books. The culture of literacy is a very important one and has no racial bounds. Parents can share in that exquisite joy of seeing new things come into the world, born from the fertile and unlimited minds of their own children. Like seeing the sun rise for the first time, we are reminded of what boundless potential our children have, and the beautiful light they shed upon our worlds.
